We had lunch here before a Saturday show, and it was a lovely experience. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and the seating was comfortable. We started with hummus, which was mild and smooth and accompanied by the softest, most pillowy warm pitas ever. For our entrees, we had the beef pita sandwich, steak souvlaki, lamb chops, and the makaronia pasta. My son said that the lamb was tender and flavorful. My older son really enjoyed his sandwich, and my husband loved the souvlaki. The pasta was amazing, with a light but richly flavored sauce with briny pops from the capers contrasting with the earthy mushrooms and spinach.

We had a delightful evening at Kitchen Istanbul. The food was terrific - we particularly enjoyed the Andana kebab and the mezze options. The wine was delicious and we loved talking with the sommelier about our options. We will be back very soon.
