Food and cocktails were great. Our first drink order took a little bit longer than normal so they give us some complementary champagne, which is very thoughtful overall great experience.

I was wondering where to go with some friends for a light bite and some drinks after a theatre matinee on Wednesday and one of our group suggested Canteen at TIFF Bell Lightbox. It turned out to be a great suggestion as the restaurant was close by, not very crowded and was clean and nicely appointed. The food that everyone had was excellent and the service was superb. The prices too were not outrageous and we all found that we got good value for our money. Next time when I'm at the theatre or seeing a movie there, I won't hesitate to go back for a great casual dining experience.
