The Hawthorn is a Georgian gem in the heart of Haworth, packed full of period features offering a relaxed environment to unwind with friends and family. This warm and appealing gastropub has been renovated throughout to showcase an array of local antiques including a stunning array of Barraclough clocks, homage to John Barraclough himself, Clockmaker to the Brontes, who used to live in this very building in the Georgian era.We serve only food made using the freshest seasonal British produce and our menu changes through the weeks to reflect this. We have a custom-made Josper charcoal grill which is the hottest indoor grill available and used by the best restaurants in the country. Cooking on the Josper ensures none of the natural moisture or flavour escapes from the food, whilst at the same time adding the distinct chargrilled taste.

    It’s very small and rather off the beaten track, but this is a great revival of a classic Leeds pub. The beer is good and where once the only food was a man selling cockles at 10 pm, now there is excellent and interesting food. Oysters and tapas plates as well as mains. A brilliant pub.

    Booked a table for myself and grandson to watch Leeds game .perfect table with own t v and plenty around ,good atmosphere great service and good food
