- EEricBirmingham/West Midlands (county) •8 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoA Tuesday lunch time visit of 4 so not very busy. We all had a different main course, all were very good. My pea and asparagus gnocchi was excellent. Similarly 4 different deserts, all very good. The Almond sponge was particularly good. Service was good with just the right amount of attention. Value is always subjective but given the high standard of food I felt it was very good value.More infoThe Bell and Cross at ClentPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Clent•4.8
- WWadeBirmingham/West Midlands (county) •16 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoPopped into Ye Olde Horseshoes for a Sunday roast and was thoroughly impressed. The beef roast was excellent – perfectly pink in the middle, tender, and full of flavour. The roast potatoes were just how I like them: golden and crispy on the outside, fluffy inside. The vegetable medley was fresh and well-cooked, and the gravy tied everything together beautifully. The Yorkshire puddings deserve a special mention – huge, fluffy, and delicious. We were seated in a cosy room that stayed cool despite the heat outside, which I found very comfortable, although my dad thought it was a bit chilly. Prices were reasonable for the quality: £21.50 for the roast, with pints around £5–£6, and a 10% service charge added – fair for the great service we received. Overall, a lovely pub lunch with great food and atmosphere. Would definitely return!More infoThe HorseshoesPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Stourbridge•4.8
