The whole experience was excellent, food , staff , ambience. The only thing that possibly would be a problem was , We ate early @ 6pm and had the shared steak platter ( which was amazing) however it had to be put on the table next to us as our table was quite small and the tables were close together. There was no one at the tables either side of us whilst we ate but it I’m not sure if we could have ordered that meal if it was busy due to the table layout and size. Wasn’t a problem for us but could be a problem .Thanks again though to everyone at the Fishes for a lovely evening and for the complimentary fizz for our anniversary celebration.

Everything about The Angel was excellent, from the friendly, welcoming staff to the menu and quality of the meals. Great atmosphere.

Excellent cuisine and good wine list. It was a pleasure to be looked after so well by the waiting staff. Thank you for a pleasing all-round experience.

The Black horse is a good old country pub. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is excellent and very good value for money. I had the Cajun chicken burger with great, crispy fries and some very good homemade slaw. My wife had the Black Horse burger, we were both very pleased with the whole experience and we’ll be visiting again soon.
