We went for dinner but ordered what can only be described as the most complete mixed cold meats, cheese and fish board and were so full we did not have the chance to try anything else. Excellent value for money! Great wine list including locally produced wines. The lady owner was most welcoming and informative. Good crowd of locals on a Friday evening, nice atmosphere.

Good food and service as normal ! Parking is the only down side

Great food and, totally unexpected, great UK wines. The atmosphere is top. Fast and smiling service!

Wonderful welcome and table settings looked delightful Good choice on menu Tasty food Liked we didn’t have to ask for water for the table, this was juts given to us. Attentive waiter but sadly as they time went on and the place became busier we had to wait longer as they were waiting tables, clearing up and doing the bar. I had to ask when our deserts were coming as we were due in the theatre and time was getting on Apologetic and took service charge off for us. Would go again though, they probably just needed somewhere else for a few hours on a Saturday evening.

Love this place beautiful setting, large car park great food . Only tiny criticism this time was my fish and chips ..the batter looked pale so needed to look more inviting but still ate it all as was all delicious!
