The Ferry Inn is a serendipitous country public house with welcoming staff, character rooms, candlelight, open fires, real ales, popular foods and fantastic sunsets. A 17th Century former smugglers haunt-- this is a pretty little pub in a lovely marshland setting with tables and benches on the front terrace and in the back alongside the riverbank. Inside it's very easygoing and chatty. The main bar has hop-draped painted beams, a green dado, and stools against the bar where they serve a beer called Oxney Ale specially brewed for the pub by Westerham Brewery. To the right is a cosy eating area with wheelback chairs-- ideal for a banquette with friends around a few long tables.

We Yanks come to Folkestone frequently to visit our young grandchildren and their parents, and make Radnor Arms a must stop each time. We've had three excellent meals here, including last night's barbequed sea bream. Go and enjoy...

We were celebrating a birthday, the food was excellent and we had a very enjoyable time. Thank you to all the staff involved in making our lunchtime celebrations so special. The happy birthday message written in chocolate and a blob of ice-cream was a lovely gesture.

Lovely Sunday lunch in a busy friendly country pub The starters were great and the desserts excellent The Sunday roast was very tasty and the cauliflower cheese and cheesy leeks were delicious
