Best Fusion Restaurants in Forest Hill / West Portal

Dined here with some girlfriends on a Saturday evening. It was packed but they had our table ready on time. Service was very warm and friendly. Food was delicious. We will definitely return.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Bansang! We were here as a party of 6 celebrating a friend’s birthday. With a group our size we were able to try a lot of items from the menu, since everything was meant to be shared as tapas. Highlights were the uni scallop toast, mulwhee noodles, jellyfish salad, sunchoke and truffle, rice cakes and chorizo, and the cod. Our favorite dessert item was the banana ice cream. The dishes were all full of flavor. Service was excellent and the ambiance was warm and relaxed. This is a great spot for both date nights and group dinners!

Memento is outstanding in every way. The food, the service and the ambiance! It is our favorite restaurant time and time again! Everyone needs to experience it! Nestled in quiet, charming Noe Valley, it is a gem! We love you guys! Paul & Doug

I was excited to check out this new place in Japantown and it did not disappoint. We had duck tacos and pork belly Benedict & they were delicious! Duck tacos were my favorite - savory and complex. The menu is mostly Asian fusion and the kimchi is house made (obvs in the name) and sooo good. Who knew kimchi & hollandaise combine to delicious effect. Cocktails were great too. Best of all was the server. So kind, friendly, and super fast. Also, we went for brunch and there was an entire baby group in there and it was not even loud. So everyone go check out the Fermentation Lab!!
