Best Fusion Restaurants in Fairfield, New Jersey

We have been going to the original Cafe Matisse for almost 30 years. When we heard that a new chef owner had taken over we had to give it a try. Matisse 167 did not disappoint. Chef Greg Power has definitely kept the tradition of inventive delicious dishes that former owner Peter Loria had established. The food, service, and of course the ambiance is as special as it has always been. We definitely will be coming back

Food was amazing! The beet appetizer was fabulous and the bread board was a big hit. The warm bread and homemade butter was great! The dinner we had was fresh and cooked perfectly.

Excellent food, ambience and service. I will come back again. The food is excellent and the fish is particularly well prepared and presented. The Beet falafels were exquisite.

We loved this place! It was so perfect and warm on a cold and a gray day. The service was above and beyond. They were warm and friendly and made us feel so welcomed and appreciated. We are vegetarian, and we absolutely loved the options. The vegetarian lobio with pickled veggies paired with a smoked Gouda cheese boat was the best combo ever. We could not have asked for better experience. We visited the sister restaurant in Brooklyn a few years ago and loved that and were equally impressed with the Hell’s Kitchen location.

We had a great brunch...love the vibe in this restaurant. All of the dishes were very good. Coffees were great. Service was excellent. Going to go back and try it for dinner.
