Malin is a small neighbourhood restaurant in the heart of Rathdowne Village, Carlton North. Set in an 1880s property on the corner of Curtain and Rathdowne streets, the site has been renovated to honour the heritage of the building. The food menu, developed by Chef Clement Pilatre, samples European cuisine and showcases seasonal produce and frequently changing dishes.     Definitely a food and wine destination. Staff were friendly and assisted in a timely manner. The four of us shared a series of excellent course’s and that worked perfectly. Having only to walk through to access the Prince Wine Store allowed a choice from their massive collection at a small fixed fee. How good is that! A great afternoon was had by us all and and we will be back.

    A fabulous evening with amazing food and service. Intimate and special. Even though one of the courses wasn’t to my pallet, it was still delivered and pushed the boundaries of an amazing food experience. Would definitely return and recommend.

    Paris go is the GO. You could easily believe you are in Paris. Brilliant food and service. The escargot is a must. Great wine list that is reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and attentive. We will definitely be going back.
