Absolutely amazing Food ! Would definitely recommend Doughcraft Service /staff were also amazing.

this is an amazing place and so easy to get to by public transport, we booked so unsure if you would get a table on walk in. Visually this place is amazing in decor and the cabinet display will leave you salivating too many choices. Prices are quite good and in comparison with other places but given the quality and taste they are delicious and good value. I tried the rosti and not what I expected it was more of a round high potato cake so not to my taste but the eggs perfectly poached, and beautiful hollandaise. The only negatives were they did forget my tea order so had to ask and my meal took a while to come and we did have to ask for the table to be cleared. The high teas looked amazing and there were quite a few coming out will definitely go back as so many treats to try from the cabinet. Very wheelchair and pram friendly, the bathrooms are actually inside the hotel entrance which weren't an issue. Very friendly staff and the booking system was easy online.

The menu under the new owner/chef, Clement, is outstanding. Clement greets all his patrons with an infectious enthusiasm which, as you discover, is wholly justified. His modern take on classic French cuisine presents diners with a wonderful taste experience. I wholly recommend Montrachet as a "must go" restaurant.

We treated ourselves to the Zen Garden High Tea for Mother’s Day- the food was fab, ambience was nice and the staff were attentive. We had a really nice time.
