We have grown along with it, and as a result, we have been successful. It has been through this growth that we have become a staple in our community. Our statement of farm to table is our truth. We support as many local growers as we can because it is the local community who support us day in and day out. We truly love being a part of this amazing community.

We are a family-owned and operated restaurant, with head chef Don Winkie leading the kitchen. At present, with business hours adjusted due to challenges of re-opening during the pandemic, Eighty Acres Kitchen & Bar is serving a modified brunch, dinner, and take-out Thursday-Sunday from 11:30 am - 9pm. The patio is open! Please call us directly to reserve your spot on the patio. Due to social distancing, reservations are strongly encouraged for bar and dining room seating. The Hartwood Restaurant enjoys a rich history. The originally the headquarters of the Harmar Coal Company. Purchased in 1988, the building was transformed into retail space, including antiques and a bookstore. Café tables were soon added amongst the book shelves, Over the years, The Hartwood Restaurant has evolved into a charming and unique place for meals, drinks, and events.     Our meals were delicious! We had the shrimp roll appetizer, Whispers salad, I had the Halibut my husband had the Salmon. The seafood dinners were superb honestly better than at the Beach. Our compliments to the Chef!! The Old Fashioned was delicious and the Irish Coffee was the best way to end our meal!!

    Our server, Missy, was great, as usual. I would recommend to anyone going to Eighty Acres for dinner to ask for her. they'll be glad they did! Also, food was great as always. My wife and I love the Gerber chicken but have made other selections in the past. Great place to go to celebrate special occasions. Eighty Acres is as good of a place to dine that we go to...and we dine out a lot!! Scott & Karen D

    We had such a lovely evening at Fish Nor Fowl! The service and hospitality were truly top-notch—every staff member we interacted with was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. It was our first time dining on the patio it was a great spot to enjoy the evening. The cocktail and wine selection is exceptional thoughtfully curated and full of unique choices. The food itself was delicious—creative, well-prepared, and satisfying. Overall, an incredible experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back soon!
