It was a truly fan…tastic special themed soirée… a set “summer” menu which was off the scale fresh and delicious from start to finish … as dinner evenings are twice a month.. you need to book early to avoid missing out on a culinary treat! Busy June Friday … always a warm welcome… professional attentive service with a smile… nothing too much trouble… we LOVE dining here! Menu was exceptional! This was our fourth visit to The Star and the 20 mile journey is worth the ride to once again be able to soak up the ambiance, the cheerful attitude of all the staff and of course the great menus and superb food. We hope to be back soon and to bring some of our family along to. Thank you too all the 'Stars' !

my first time in a Michelin star restaurant, and it was every bit as i expected and more. The food was exceptional (Venison) cooked to perfection. the wine complimented the meat perfectly ( as advised by the staff). The service and knowledge from the staff was first rate. This is a little gem of a restaurant, well worth a visit. I will return for sure.
