This restaurant is like no other I have ever been to. The open plan kitchen / dining is truly unique, allowing you to watch the chef Andrew and his team preparing and plating your meals, really adds to the overall experience. So often we enjoy our food at restaurants but we have no idea as to the true extent of what goes on in the kitchen. This is not the case with Perspective. Every morsel of food that is delivered to your table is prepared with exceptional care. It is not only exquisite in taste but also in presentation. Having Andrew explain each and every dish to you in great detail as it is delivered alleviates the experience even further. Additionally with seating for only 14 (excluding the Eucalyptus Room), it's really intimate. I would absolutely return especially knowing that there are new changes happening soon which sound unique and fun. This time we went all in and tried the 9 course degustation with the matching wine pairing but we would love to return to try the high tea experience also. The only very minor critique that I have is that whilst Andrew explains the dishes to the diners, the music could be lowered and then turned up again when he is finished speaking. Sometimes it was hard to hear exactly what was being said and given the amount of effort that goes into the dishes not to mention the amount of unique ingredients, you don't want to miss a thing that is being said. Apart from that there is absolutely nothing about this restaurant that isn't 100% perfect. Thank you Andrew and team for making our evening so remarkable. It is a memory we will cherish.

We got there to be advised there was a limited menu which included more heavier foods. There was a vast selection on the menu. We ended up having some cake and coffee which was lovely but we went for lunch, so a little disappointing.
