Best Contemporary Mexican Restaurants in Long Island City

Excellent midtown option for social or business casual lunch. VERY time efficient - good service, short wait for the food. Clean, not too loud, and outdoor seating is available.

Greeted and seated at the requested location at the bar. Both bartenders were awesome. Vanessa the hostess was terrific and she has done a magnificent job training Daniel. Food was very good, hot food was hot and cold cold.

We have gone many times to ja ja. Its always a nice experience. Creative vegan cooking and a nice location in North Williamsburg. The one small issue is they try to push you out for their next reservation a lot. For example I think offering us a check without asking about dessert is part of that strategy. Perhaps this is the norm in popular places with limited space. Not sure. Otherwise highly recommended.

It was a great experience. We have been to this restaurant a couple times and the food and drink are always so good and simple. We had a great time.
