    I've had this place on my short list for awhile but was worried about reviews that said the space was tight and loud. My group and I found it exceptional in every way. The size was intimitate but didn't feel crowded. We loved the high ceilings and design of the space. The menu was varied and had fun options you don't see everywhere. The food was exceptional and they have a full bar. Back to Back is an exciting new addition to the SF dining scene and we will be back often!

    Luisa’s is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to. The dishes were fresh, tasty and delicious. The parma pizza, pasta carbonara with pancetta, and the beef carpaccio were my favorite dishes. Also, nobody could ever go wrong with cannolis or tiramisu cake, which were both incredible. Luisa herself was even at the restaurant monitoring everything and making sure everyone felt welcome and at home. She made the experience even more enjoyable!
