- RRLVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •12 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis restaurant has been on our list for a while and we are glad we finally made it. The menu is a tad small, but they clearly go for quality over quantity. With our group of 4, all of our dishes were outstanding and appreciate them offering gluten free items. It was the first time in almost 15 years that I was able to enjoy gluten free bread at the table (the dipping oil was amazing). I had the fettuccini al fungi (with GF pasta) and it was light but with so much flavor. We were not as excited about the desserts as we were our dinner. We ordered the torta cioccolato and I suppose we expected a rich flourless chocolate torte but I re-read this to be a cake, so our error for that. The panna cotta was more jello like than the familiar smooth and creamy ones we have always had. The cocktails were also fantastic (must try the Aero Mexico). We will definitely return to Montesacro!More infoMontesacro Walnut CreekPrice: Expensive• Italian• Walnut Creek•4.7

- PWPeterWSan Francisco Bay Area •7 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThis is an offshoot of the excellent Sicilian restaurant in Berkeley; Agrodolce. It’s in a more stylish environment with an outdoor space as well. This is my new regular Italian. Try the Porchetta or the sardine bucatini; both magicMore infoIsola OsteriaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Danville•4.3
