Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Millbrae

I celebrated my friend's bday at Pausa last night. The place was lively. I have sat at the bar, chef's table. Our food, service were great! Katie took care of us. What impressed me the most was the timing. We did not feel rushed - dishes, drinks, refill appeared perfectly timed. We both look forward to future gatherings at Pausa.

We really enjoyed our dinner. The pizza is delicious. The service was good. It’s often our first choice for bringing a large group.

Inventive and delicious Italian. The Italian wine list is substantial. There is also a wide range of good house wines available in glass to liter carafes. Service has generally been great. There were a couple of issues this visit, but immediately resolved.

It was our wedding anniversary celebration and it was our first time dining at Vespucci Ristorante Italiano. We like the ambiance of the restaurant, it’s beautifully decorated. We ordered Rose & Chianti Arco for our anniversary toast. And for our appetizers ~ Arugula salad & Calamari Fritti and for our entree ~ Spaghetti Alla Carbon & Rigatoni Al Salmone, it all tasted delicious! And for our dessert we shared Torta Al Ciocolato and it was scrumptious, so decadent. We highly recommend this restaurant and our server Manuela was friendly, attentive and provided us with excellent service. Thank you for making our evening special.
