Being a fan of Chef Sanjeev Kapoor’s recipes and his show, we were looking forward to dining at his restaurant and it did not disappoint. We ordered the jackfruit galouti kebab and Amritsari fish fry, both of which were crispy, fresh and well made. The kebab was especially tasty with flavor of jackfruit coming through. For mains we went with Chicken Kaftan and it was one of the most subtle but flavorful curries I have tried. The chicken was well cooked and the gravy was nutty, silky with a hint of Kasoori methi. Highly recommend. They also had a good selection of mocktails and cocktails. The decor, seating and cutlery could be improved to be slightly less dated, but overall, a good dining experience. Would recommend if in Toronto.

Relaxing flavour superb - good variety to share Tender tasty

We loved our dinner at Rooh. The drinks and the food were delicious and creative. The service was excellent and attentive. I saw some reviewers complained of small portion sizes for the price, but we did not find that at all. The restaurant is newly renovated and beautiful. Overall, excellent and we’d highly recommend.

The food was AMAZING. But, the service was a little slow considering we were the first dinner customers. The music was a bit loud and totally not in keeping with the vibe of the restaurant.
