Amazing experience and food / service was exceptional

Love love love. Intimate and elegant. Chef Patrick creates new menus weekly and the dishes are beautiful to look at and to eat. Eddy is maître D and it’s incredible how smooth the service is with just 2 people running the show. This week included one of the best trout dishes I’ve had. This is my 4th time there in 7 months and already planning the next one for a champagne or burgundy night. The occasional wine pairings are fun although tables are shared at these. Perfect for a special occasion (or not). Dress up (or not really). See you soon!

We have dined at Balcon a number of times this year and we are always impressed by the food and service. We have chosen the set menus and have definitely been full at the end of our meal. We’ll be back and the various friends who have dined with us have all enjoyed the at Balcon.

This is the kind of restaurant we need more of in Sydney. Definitely the "neighbourhood gem" category. There's real skill in the kitchen and they're turning out really well executed and presented quality plates of simply tasty food. It's not made for your instagram - it's made for your mouth and tummy! Service is super friendly and efficient. You know you're in a good place when the waitress says "no, don't order that extra bread- you already get bread with the dish you ordered"!!!
