We visited the ivy in Belfast last night for my boyfriend’s birthday. Thought it would be nice to try as haven’t been before. I booked online and it asked if it was an occasion I put in it was my boyfriends birthday thinking they would do something special or write happy birthday on a dessert or something however they did not. Table wasn’t ready when we got there so we headed to the bar for drinks. I got a cocktail 14.50 tasted like water… staff came and assisted us to our table, couldn’t have been any better very warm and welcoming. We both had a steak chips and peppercorn sauce which was 10/10 and a chocolate bombe for dessert. We then had another two drinks. Again cocktail was like water and for the price? Very small portions and the drinks were also very small. This came to £150 which I didn’t think was so bad but still quite pricey.

Great Food, lovely setting, definitely be returning

Absolutely fantastic experience. Food was absolutely delicious. I had the Korean beef and it was amazing, my partner had the bone marrow beef burger and again was delicious, we also had a side of mash and Parmesan truffle fries that were 10/10. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Will 100% be back
