I love this pace. Wednesday is steak night. Delicious, beautifully cooked steak, fries and a delightful, perfectly dressed slaw. Service was fabulous. Very attentive. It was a chilly night in Melbourne. We were given a lovely table by the open fire. So cosy, perfect ambience.

Well that was great!! Delicious food, we had the steak frites, beef cheek croquettes & carrots. Highly recommend starting in the bar for a cocktail, blackcurrant Americano was tasty and then into the bistro for dinner. Such a beautiful space. Love that this is now in the area!!

Always a pleasure to dine here. Excellent service & the food was wonderful. Ravioli was superb.

We made a dinner reservation just an hour before dining here. They were pretty busy when we arrived so we’re glad we made a booking. We had a nice dinner with the most amazing garden salad, which included lovely greens, avocado slices, beets, tomatoes and more. It was super fresh and really a bargain for nine dollars. Shhh . . . Don’t want to say that too loud loudly as I don’t want them to raise their prices!! One of us had the RahmSchnitzel with spätzli and broccolini & the other opted for the three course meal which started with a plate of bresaola and salami and olives and pickles, and then a main course of Schnitzel with Rösti. The dessert was a Toblerone chocolate mousse.  the meal also include two beers and two glasses of red wine. The total came to $177 AUD. The chef even came out after our meal and sat with us and chatted for a few minutes. We had a really wonderful evening and we’re glad that we dined here.
