We were delighted with our dining experience at the Ho Ho Kus Inn. It is a step back in time in ambiance in a historical mansion. We loved the small rooms which created a coziness and quiet atmosphere so uncommon in most restaurants today. The service was superb and the food generally excellent. If you're looking for a unique, romantic dining experience, Ho Ho Kus Inn is the place to go. Of all the many restaurants we have dined at in Bergen County, this is our favorite. SugarTree is a nice breakfast/brunch spot. The atmosphere is exactly how the pictures depict. The food is good on the sweet side and a little pricey for breakfast items. The eggs and toast were dry and the waffle was a little on the soft side. Not many healthy options. Would have loved to see a yogurt parfait or an egg white omelette.
