Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Chaska

Hazelwood is always great. The service & food is always top tier. Hazelwood is always my go to place for delicious food. Also, when we have guest in town this is always the 1st stop for a good meal & cocktails.

We have dined at Birches a number of times and love the upstairs dining room, brewery/bar area downstairs and the patio. For Father's Day, we chose to reserve upstairs dining. It was a chilly start to this mid June day so we were pleased with our choice until we were sat at the windows, overlooking the lake, and it was uncomfortably cold. How this was initially handled was not smooth as the Hostess responded to my concern by saying it is 72 degrees (in essence implying that the blowing air I mentioned wasn't an issue). She did resolve the matter and moved us to another table after initially stating she had no other tables. Thereafter our service and food were wonderful. It is a bit pricey but the quality of the food and drinks makes it worth it to have this nicer dining experience.

Food was amazing, delicious walleye soft tacos. Service was excellent! Highly recommend!

Great place for a business lunch. Wasn’t so busy that we couldn’t have a normal conversation. Service was amazing!
