Bar Sumi is an elegant and sophisticated classic cocktail bar that prides itself on adhering to traditional Asian mixology techniques and aesthetics. Our bar features a rich and diverse selection of whiskies, catering to both connoisseurs and casual enthusiasts alike. The Full of privacy and stylish environment makes it an ideal venue for any special occasion or a relaxing evening. We are a bar with a seating capacity of only 24. Due to the limited number of seats and to ensure a better experience for all guests, we do not accommodate walk-in groups of more than three people without a prior reservation.Please note that reservations will be held for a maximum of fifteen minutes. We only allow entry once the reserved number of guests have arrived. The dining time is limited to 90 minutes. Beyond this time, the table will be made available to waiting guests.Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Frank Mac's. Gin & Cocktail Bar The original 1840s sandstone walls of the building Frank Mac’s now occupies a 120-person capacity bar which flows from outdoor seating on George Street, across two levels and into a back courtyard. Whereas the downstairs space feels cosy and intimate, dotted with vintage leather banquettes, dark jade and light orange velvet armchairs, low tables and a fireplace, the ground level you’ll walk into off George Street will reflect the energy of the bartenders working behind the almost five-metre-long oak bar. A handful of bar stools provide the perfect vantage point to take in the cocktail mixology while the dark velvet curtains, worn leather banquette seats and cosy fireplace of the ‘Snug’ provides groups of up to eight with a private space to retreat and relax.

Our menu is heavily influenced by Vietnamese fruits, flavours and delicacies.     Bar Sumi offers a truly unique, menu-less experience where every drink is tailored to you. The vibe is warm and lively, and the bartenders are incredibly friendly, professional, and patient — especially for someone like me who doesn’t have much bar experience. They take the time to listen, guide you through your options, and craft drinks that fit exactly what you’re looking for. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a personalized and welcoming night out.

    Amazing little bar. Staff were wonderful and very helpful with cocktail decisions. All the food was great, definitely glad we chose to eat and have a few drinks here.

    Great bar! My partner and friend took me there to celebrate my birthday and the service was amazing. I tried 2 different drinks, one better than the other, and more importantly, the music was at a level that you could both enjoy the tunes and the conversation.
