Perfect setting for an afterwork business meeting. Views incredible

Everything was good. A glass broke on my partner. She was fine and the guy was apoplectic. A desert comp or free coffees with have soften the shock. Two lots of music going at once had my head spinning, an eclectic mix front of house and rock coming from the kitchen. Food amazing, cocktails insane.

I so badly wanted to love this place and give it 5 stars for everything but the service let it down. On the positive side - 2 staff members were friendly, decor is great and food is good. On the negative side - 1 staff member was unfriendly and rude and difficult to get him/her/they to take a drink order from all at the table they only took one person’s order. They were dismissive to the point of arrogant. Food was extremely slow to come out, took over an hr for the first course. One waiter kept forgetting one person in our group was vegetarian and kept forgetting to bring a non meat dish for her, we put it in the booking and then mentioned it at the beginning of the meal, and had to ask agin twice more during the meal. The food took a long time to come out so we had lost our appetite by the second last course which was a shame as the food was delicious I’d recommend this venue but perhaps when they have settled into a routine which is less frantic and service is better (but tbh if I saw that staff member who was rude again, I’d go elsewhere)

Good value for money if you want lots of drinks. 4pm-6pm is happy hour anyway so for the same price as the bottomless drinks package you could have 2 x $15 cocktails each and 2 small plates. I think the bottomless drinks would be better being across 4 hours so drinks can be consumed more slowly and more food would also be purchased. Just a thought. My partner is a slow drinker normally so she unfortunately crashed and burned early with an increased consumption rate!
