- DDariusAtlanta •1 review5.0Dined on May 14, 2025Our experience here was amazing! We went on a Tuesday and they had a dj playing good R&B music. It was a little loud for it to be a chill bar, but it was a lot of fun and everyone was dancing in their respective areas. Our service was amazing. Very attentive—And they give you water without asking! Huge plus for me. The Peach Cobbler was our go to drink. Definitely recommend! I had a reservation set, but most days I'm sure you can walk in. It was the perfect amount of people.More infoThe James RoomPrice: Moderate• Cocktail Bar• Inman Park•4.8
- AAustinAtlanta •5 reviews4.0Dined on May 10, 2025May Peel had some standout elements, but the vibe caught me off guard. It’s labeled as a speakeasy, so I expected a more mellow, intimate atmosphere — something you’d go to for relaxed conversation and a low-key night. Instead, it felt more like a sit-down club, with loud 2000s rap music dominating the space. Definitely not the quiet, tucked-away feel most speakeasies aim for. That said, the food and drinks were phenomenal. The bartenders clearly know what they’re doing — I had a smoked Old Fashioned (worth the $2 upcharge), and it was easily one of the best I’ve had. Every cocktail we tried was well-balanced and delicious. We also shared a charcuterie board and a meatball appetizer, both of which were excellent. Food and drinks? 10/10. Ambience? A bit off from what I expected — hence the 4/5 overall.More infoMay PeelPrice: Expensive• Cocktail Bar• Midtown•4.6
