Song Bird last night was an extremely memorable occasion. It got off to a flying start when one of the guests said that the old bloke with the pony tail acts like he owns the place.. Needless to say they cracked up when I told them he did actually own it! The girls started with the best martinis they have ever had and then some wines the sommelier suggested. The beef tartare and kingfish were voted 10/10 as were the succulent prawn wontons, scallop and lobster spring rolls,pepper beef pancake we started with. Next was the absolutely best Peking duck ever followed by amazing coral trout and a sweet and sour pork you just have to have once in your life. Our host Oscar was so efficient and so friendly it just put the icing on the cake. Can't wait to return.

Overall food was good, Fried rice, Pork ribs and Spinach was our favourites. some dishes were different, some were the same as other Chinese restaurants. Service was exceptional from the manager who kept checking if everything was alright. I would certainly go again.

I was very impressed by the offerings of Lobster at a very reasonable price. The lobster was so fresh it almost jumped out at me. I devoured the tail meat and the attacked the legs with great success. It is very easy to know if a lobster is fresh or thawed. This one was fresh out of the tank! The Ma Po chicken was great as well, though a little to chili for me, but my wife, who has a liking for chili enjoyed it. Perhaps next time I will ask about the chili. Not enough patrons are frequenting this very good Cantonese Restaurant when they should! We will certainly return.

Authentic Hunan cuisine. Absolutely delicious! Friendly staff.
