A quaint cafe with spectacular service, surroundings and food will be on high rotation, thank you for making our Mother’s Day special.

I had a lovely lunch with my daughter, the food was delivered promptly and very good coffee. The inimitable Craig, our server was courteous, friendly which was much appreciated. The only criticism is the time limit, ok for a table of two or four, not long enough for larger groups as I have experienced in past visits with a table of 8. I recommend Rivers Cafe and Foodstore.

The So-Fish-Ticated sandwiches and the Zuccini Fritters were excellent. The staff were really helpful and pleasant. Our only issue was the noise level inside. With so many people talking loudly and very loud background music it was impossible for us to have a quiet chat. We asked for the music to be turned down but it was still too loud. We moved outside when a table became available but had to fight off the wasps. Our table was also beside the fly bait which had a very unpleasant smell - perhaps move it away from the actual tables. We would love to come back because of the tasty food and lovely staff but the noise and wasp issue would be a deterrent.

Went to catch up with some friends and to check out new menu and chef Zulal. Fantastic food. I had the Turkish feast which I shared. Lovely lamb, falafels, chicken, rice and veggies. More than enough. All the food on the table looked amazing. I hope Zulals cooking brings in more people. It was a little quiet in side but a lot of people were sitting outside on a lovely night. Will definitely be back.
