Best Cafés in Hanson Park

Had such a blast at Snakes & Lattes that we came twice in one weekend! My friend and I stopped by on a Friday night and were immediately impressed by the depth of options in the board game vault. Chris was an absolute gem, he took the time to listen to our preferences and made spot-on recommendations based on what we enjoyed. We ended up trying a game we'd never played before, had an amazing time just barely losing, and loved the experience so much we came back again on Sunday. This place is a great spot for board game lovers or anyone just looking for a fun night with friends. We’ll definitely be back soon!

We are very happy to see that Fiore is back! It's our favorite place for a casual dinner. The weather was perfect for the patio. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our Sonny Boy pizza which had sausage, caramelized onions, and pistachio. The spinach arancini was delicious too.

Great. Time the food was on par. Try the buffet. It’s worth the price. U must try the oatmeal. Great service. Very attentive. Ask for the omelet cook to tell u the story of the artwork

Such a fun spot, the DJ was amazing and we enjoyed our meal. Service was a little slow but Abe was lovely and very friendly.

The restaurant week menu for Publican Quality Meats has to be one of the hidden gems in Chicago. My wife and I really did not know what to expect when we walked in to an empty restaurant, to say I had some misgivings is an understatement but I have to say, this was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. We shared the entire restaurant with another couple and we had a wonderful evening with some excellent food. Each dish was excellent and showed off the Chef's talents. The Pate en Croute was phenomenal and the Beef Bourguignon topped off the evening. My wife and I could not finish the dish so we had it wrapped up and our son devoured the leftovers when he came home from work. Out waiter gave us a handout for the Austrian wine tasting menu and we already purchased tickets for that evening. All I can say to the party of seven that cancelled their reservation that night is that you made a Big Mistake in doing so. You missed out on an excellent meal.
