Best Burgers Restaurants in Hightstown

Our waitress Donna was amazing! She ensured we had everything we needed! She was so nice and talked with us. The experience was one of a kind, delicious drinks, wonderful atmosphere, and we all loved ahi tuna tacos!!!! Thank you, Donna and Hawke staff for a great dinner!👏😘🙏

Food was delicious and service was great. Was a great experience from beginning to end. The sesame tuna and tenderloin were superb. Apple crumb too and the fennel and persimmon salad. Don’t live in the area but if I did I would frequent this restaurant.

Our server, Mary, was fantastic. Our breakfast was delicious. Our group had crème brûlée french toast, novalox, and the All American breakfast. Everything was awesome.

This was our first time at the Water Wheel. I had the Airline Chicken. The sauce is simple, light and compliments the chicken, which was tender and moist. The potatoes were very different. I’m guessing they are a twice cooked new potato with a crispy outer layer, but a creamy center. The asparagus was not too thick and had just a little snap. They were very busy, but the service was good. The noise level is a bit high, but given the large space with hard wood floors it wasn’t that bad.

High energy environment with good food and attentive service. Fun place to bring the family if noise level is not a concern. Choice of proprietary beers is a highlight.
