My husband and our two friends had afternoon tea in The Rise. It was delightful. From the greeting at the door to the Grand by the lovely Wayne to drinks in the bar and then Alyssa talking us through the delicacies placed befiore us, it was just perfect.

Lovely Anniversary meal from the 3 course lunch menu, great ambience, friendly attentive service, superb food and fantastic value for money.

It was the best steak that I have this year - been to the Hawksmoor in Manchester (twice) , Cibo (Manchester), San Carlo (Hale), Grande Cafe (Manchester) just to name a few restaurants that I have eaten in - but I have to say Cut and Craft Leeds was excellent steak cooked to perfection, Rib Eye and sides were very good quality, is it expensive .. yes but the food was great.

By far the nicest meal I have had in a long time, steak was cooked to absolute perfection. The only issue we had was the price of bottled water. We were asked for water for the table not told price or if we would prefer bottled or tap. The waiter also came and gave us an other bottle. And charged us for that also. £9 for two bottles of water. Everything else was outstanding. But be aware of the bottles of water.

Another superb experience at Bavette! The menu was even more amazing than usual with our choices mackerel and crab tartlet for starters and divine turbot for our mains. Somehow we squeezed in a cheese board and frangipani tart! I love that these guys are absolutely not resting on their laurels and the tide of incredible reviews they have received, Clement and team are just as focused on providing a wonderful experience as they were during our first visit a year ago. Already looking forward to next visit and would encourage any lovers of fabulous food served in a friendly atmosphere to visit!
