The Hind's Head is a traditional country village pub and restaurant serving freshly made food and quality local cask ales. We are a community owned and managed free house in a very picturesque Shropshire village. We have the more traditional areas of the pub with wood burning stoves, as well as a lovely restaurant and welcoming orangery for all our guests to enjoy food, drinks and good company. We offer two wine lists as well as a great selection of cask ales, lagers and ciders. The views from the front of the pub have a perfect picture post card view of St Chad's Church in the centre of the village. While we offer traditional pub classics like freshly made pies and fish and chips, we also regularly offer specials that our chefs create weekly and do a lovely Sunday roast dinner that is extremely popular. Excellent service from the bar man downstairs to our lovely waitresses and the host upstairs. The food came in good time and they considered our allergies which was great to see.

This pub was a last minute booking for Father’s Day and we were so pleased we choose it, the staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was amazing, we loved everything we ate. It’s one we will definitely return too now we have found it.

We enjoyed our afternoon tea at Hill valley, it was lovely. The service was excellent, the atmosphere christmassy and staff were lovely. It was a chilled experience which was what we wanted on Christmas eve.
