The stately looking former manor house, is set back from the road in acres of grounds surrounded by the beautiful Norfolk countryside. We give chefs Jake Wragg and Richard Hart free rein to create dishes which delight guests from near and far. Allowing them to showcase their creativity and talent, the ever evolving menu swings with the seasons and uses local Norfolk produce from the myriad of farmers, fishermen and other producers on our rural doorstep.The pub itself we describe as quintessentially English, set on the edge on an expansive village green in beautiful Aldborough. Don't be surprised to be watching the cricket when a group of Morris Dancers show up. Yes it happens!     The food here is always lovely Good portions, good options, great quality, nice wine The service is always great . We sat outside as it was a beautiful warm evening and it was so relaxed I really love this place

    Really enjoyed our visit which was for my birthday lunch. Food was delicious, beautiful pub / setting looking over the sea / marshes. I had mentioned it was my birthday and they brought out a loverly dessert with happy birthday on it. Its not cheap but it is a very nice experience and i will be back.

    First visit to Aurora after hearing good reports. Booked in the restaurant. Service at the table very good. Ordered Aurora Burger and the crab salad. Both were excellent. Early evening and it was quite busy and briefly we were next to a crying baby and had to contend with an annoying fly but can’t do much about that! When we went to pay, there was a hold up as there were some tech issues on the till but apologies were given. Prices were in line with other similar restaurants. Overall a good experience. Would recommend to others and very happy to return to try something else from the menu.
