The restaurant is really nice space and respects a beautiful building. Ambience is prefect and the decor has been really well thought out, a relaxing but professional feel. Loved the feature that has been made of the old bank vault door down stairs. We were served by 2 of the front of house team, both were extremely pleasant, it was great to get advice from the server about his favourite dishes on the menu and both seemed genuinely interested in what we were going and once served whether we had enjoyed it, service was impeccable and we did not feel rushed. The food was of the same great standard as the service, I would recommend the truffle croquettes were really tasty and the fish butty was excellent. Overall I would highly recommend 10/10. Thanks to the team for a great lunch experience.

Service, really good! Thank you for looking after our table and mostly to my mums allergies. And lovely birthday plate! Food, 3/5 plating and taste, 20 stories expectation, quail dish and ham hock plating not appealing, like there’s no wow factor. But taste, really good! Goat cheese, the mix is salty, over powered everything. Pork belly, carrots is under cooked, lamb rump over cooked not pink and spring onion under cooked. Taste really good! So we didn’t bother to return the plate. Over all really good! Thank you so much to our server forgot her name:(

We were celebrating our anniversary which we mentioned in the booking & was commented on and congratulated by all the staff that interacted with us. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable. Talked to us about the menu without it feeling like a pushy upsell. The food was served speedily and was absolutely delicious. The gravy in particular was heavenly. We were also treated to a takeaway cheesecake as a goodwill gesture to celebrate our anniversary. Absolutely would recommend to anyone. Brilliant food and brilliant service. Fantastic all around.

We had the surprise menu.. it was excellent with interesting combinations and plenty of flavor. Service was friendly and knowledgeable.
