All the meat on our menus is “nose to tail” so the menu is ever changing, and we waste nothing. We even employ our own head ranger to keep the deer herds on the land we manage under control, and have our own deer larder in the Cotswolds where this amazing product is processed.Our fish comes from day boats in Cornwall.We work with the seasons, ensuring the very best truly local veg is with us the day after its picked. Our food is cooked over wood from local plantations, and charcoal coppiced less than 20 miles away.We know the story of everything on the menu.Our lovely staff are extremely well informed, so, do ask questions on anything you’re not sure of.We hope you love this restaurant as much as we do and keep coming back.

At Primitivo we pride ourselves on the quality and consistency of our food. We concentrate on fresh seasonal and local ingredients, buying directly from the markets in Birmingham. We have a small but well designed "open kitchen", so the menu is compact but offers good choice and changes regularly. The Restaurant menu consists of 6 starters, 8 main courses, side orders and homemade puddings. We would describe the food as Modern British with a strong Mediterranean influence. So, think roasted halibut with sunblush tomato mash and black pudding in the summer or a classic steak and kidney pudding in the winter months. The restaurant is intimate and stylish with high ceilings, gilt mirrors and exposed brickwork. It makes the perfect venue for business lunches, romantic dinners and family get-togethers.

    Excellent service from the bar man downstairs to our lovely waitresses and the host upstairs. The food came in good time and they considered our allergies which was great to see.

    Had a brilliant experience at Bills Birmingham I walked in and was greeted by a lady who was full off beans very friendly took us to our table. Would definitely return just for that lady she was lovely just sad I didn’t get her name to be able to shout her out personally in this review.

    We watched the Wimbledon Men’s Final at the pub on a pre booked table. The weather was very hot and the menu was reduced due to the heat in the kitchen to be fair to the chefs. We all enjoyed the food that was served. I am a regular and the pub is dog friendly which helps a lot. I would recommend a visit if you are looking for a cosy pub, nice staff and accommodating regulars.
