Absolutely cracking meal As usual ordered two courses not had before Starter- Rabbit and black pudding scotch egg, summer peas Main - Homily pie, hospice cabbage, smoked cheddar sauce Both delicious and very tasty Well done to the chef and the girls serving so polite and informative when asked questions.

Great service, great spot on the river, good food, bit over priced

What is there not to like at the Beetle & Wedge. Staff are always so friendly, & food consistently very good. Today was the perfect day to sit out next to the river & watch the world go by. We go there regardless of the weather though, as inside the restaurant is a welcoming place to be. Thanks to Ben & his team.

This is the first time I have visited the "new Pot Kiln". A great experience, from start to finish. We were met by a lovely young man at the bar who smiled and took us to our table. Lovely atmosphere in the dining room which was light and airy looking into the open kitchen with the chefs working. Lots of space in the dining room which is good news these days. As so many restaurants have tables so close together! I loved the menu which had lots of different dishes to chose from. I would certainly recommend.

Unexpectedly got dinner and a show! Sat outside in the sunshine, the kitchen were having some struggles and, with window open, my partner and I got to enjoy listening to the frustrations of working in the kitchen...particularly when alarms kept going off left, right and centre. This entertainment certainly made up for the extended wait between starter and main course...as did the discounted bill...and the hilarious waiter who kept asking if we were enjoying the audio atmosphere or, in the brief intervals when alarm wasn't sounding, missing it! Delicious food when it came!
