Established in 2017 by Executive Chef, Thomas Cauquil and Brewery Director, Vincent De Soyres, Frenchies Bistro & Brewery specialises in creating food and drinks for friends, all in a relaxed, casual, and unique setting, where customers have the option to dine surrounded by brewing tanks.Leaning on fresh, local, seasonal produce, the duo create all of their products in-house, from smoked and cured meats and hand rolled pastas, to Frenchies' award-winning beers and spritzes.Thomas and Vince first met at Albert de Mun Hotel and Catering School in Paris in 2005. From there, Thomas went on to work at Michelin star restaurants including Le Violon d’Ingres* in Paris and El Chaflán in Madrid, meanwhile Vince set his sights on Australia, and moved from Ninkasi Brewery in Lyon to the Little Brewing Co. in Port Macquarie in 2010, followed by the Flat Rock Brew Café. Thomas joined Vince in Australia in 2013, and they transformed their dream into a reality with the opening of Frenchies.

Our in-house microbrewery is another iconic addition to everything that The Squire’s Landing is. From James Squire’s iconic crafts, to our limited release small batch brews, you’re bound to come across something unique in our Brewhouse. Our Brewhouse menu boasts hearty pub classics with a twist.The Ground Floor Brewhouse accepts reservations all year round with seasonal minimum spends. Please refer to the booking widget and your specific date for the minimum spend. We take groups of 15-30 guests. For all smaller groups and parties that do not wish to prepay a minimum spend, the venue is available on a walk-in basis. Reservations for the Restaurant on the 1st floor can be made through the "Squire's Waterfront Restaurant" on open table.10% surcharge applies on Sundays. 15% surcharge applies on public holidays.     my wife and I were visiting Sydney during the Vivid Festival. During this period the menu was a Set Menu at the Restaurant. There was two different menus, one was $99 and the other was$120. We chose the $120 menu. My personnel opinion was that the meal was not up to a $120 per person level. We have eaten at The Squires Landing Restaurant in the past and it was excellent. I believe the set menu option is not the way to go. It will not deter us from eating there again when we visit Sydney in the future.

    We had a wonderful evening celebrating a birthday with a group. The venue is amazing, view outstanding and the staff were so helpful and kind. Best bar in Sydney 😊

    Lovely people, great beer and food! Atmosphere was fab due to jij hottest 100 countdown and the GABS hottest 100 craft beers countdown. Due to Akasha making the cut every guest was shouted a middy of beer. Bravo Akasha!
