It was busy and the service was still prompt and attentive.

The variety of food offered was quite nice. As a family, we are pretty healthy. Eaters and the food offerings were complementary to our needs. It was almost impossible to hear each other. While we did ask for a quieter table.There was no way to find quiet in the restaurant. On a Friday night at 7, it probably isn't the best time to find quiet. We especially liked our blood orange cosmos. One waitress was training a brand new waitress. All of our appetizer plates and serving bowls were left on the table during our dinner, which was a little bit messy and cramped. Servings were huge, and pricing was very reasonable. With that volume of food, we were able to get a couple of lunches out of the extra that we took home. I would prefer to go back at a quieter time to enjoy it a little more.

We were looking forward to dinner at Brauhaus Schmitz and not disappointed. We ordered Schnitzel prepared in 2 ways. Both were very good. Just the right amount of breading. Spaetzle were not doughy and tasted good although they were hidden under the schnitzel. We appreciated the side salad served with a simple dressing as served in Germany. The beer is list is extensive and as long as Hofbrau is offered, we are satisfied. Wait staff is attentive without being over bearing. Enjoyed the evening!

Comfortably fit our party of 7, food came out quickly, and drinks stayed coming! Plus, our dad forgot the bday cake and the staff was kind enough to bring a brownie and a candle for my mom. Thanks!!!
