It was not very crowded, so we had plenty of time to sit and talk. Food was good and reasonably priced.

Best food we ate in Chicago! Still thinking about it. Service was very friendly and personable. The Cafe de Olla was soooo good.

The Fourth of July fireworks/drone show was cancelled because of inclement weather) for Oak Brook, which was what this reservation was for. Because of the cancellation, the Drake called ALL customers and informed them of the cancellation and that their money would be fully refunded. Not only that, I just (7/6) received another call to inform me the money was refunded and should be in my account in a few days. BRAVO DRAKE OAK BROOK! You took the high road and reached out personally to guests so they did not make the trip AND you FULLY refunded their money. What a class act. This is why the standard at the Drake has always been the highest standard. Because this occurred we decided to go and have dinner in the Colonial room at the Drake. The service was impeccable. Our waiter, David, was a gem along with his helper. The food was absolutely delicious and served at a leisurely pace. Not rushed and not too slow. I was duly impressed by everything and wanted to Thank the Drake for handling this so well. If I were looking to go somewhere for a nice dinner, the Drake is the place. Such respect for them as they respected their customers (over 400 reservations for the event). Kudos to you Drake Oak Brook!

Excellent food choices. Fresh fruit and salads were beautiful. Nice overall selections from breakfast to lunch and the carving station. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that we stayed to visit, and I wish the table would have been completely cleared.

Always love the food, but today the best part was the service. Miranda is a gem. Hope she stays with you a long, long time.
