Overall, the food was great and good value for money. Booking is essential. Just note there’s a 10% surcharge on weekends and an additional 10% for groups larger than six. One downside — their phone number doesn’t seem to work. The main issue for us was the timing of the mains. They weren’t served at the same time, so it felt more like a tasting menu than a shared dinner. We ordered one Casio, one Merrylands, one risotto, and two steaks. The Casio came out first by itself, which we shared. Once that was finished, the risotto arrived alone. It was so good we ordered another — which oddly arrived before the remaining Merrylands and both steaks. Highlights: the risotto was excellent, the Merrylands had a great smoky flavour, and the steaks were nicely done. Just something to keep in mind if you’re dining with a group.

Group booking was easy to organise. Food and service was exceptional, served very promptly. Venue, location and outlook was great. Will certainly book future gatherings at Bistro 18 again.

We went to have dinner and see a band - Big Mama & The Charm Offensive. The band were absolutely outstanding, everyone was up dancing and it was a friendly, fun and fantastic night. We had pizza which was yummy, the staff were friendly and helpful, loved the pub itself. It was fabulous.
