Food was delicious. Somehow this restaurant has never come up as a brunch option in all of our Google maps searches. We were pleasantly surprised to stumble upon it this morning. The grits were probably the best I have had in the city in a while. They were not oily or watered down creamy. The French toast platter was a 10/10 as well. I’m not a big burnt ends fan as it is a little heavy but the breakfast sandwich was super flavorful.

Our waitress, McKenzie, was phenomenal! She kept us updated on our food and made sure we had everything we needed. She is definitely an asset to your restaurant and company. We LOVE the food at Chickie’s and it’s always fun to be there when there is a game or entertainment. South Philly is close to where we live, but is our favorite location. Go! You will not be disappointed 😊😀

Thank you for a wonderful Father's Day experience! The restaurant is so lovely, and we loved the jazz musician. Brunch was delicious and the servers were attentive! The next time, I would love to sit on the roof! We wish you the best, Topside Tavern!
