My boyfriend and I ended our Nashville trip with dinner at The Rutledge, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. The food was outstanding, but what truly made the experience memorable was our incredible waiter, Steve. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with a firm handshake, introduced himself, and asked for our names, which immediately made the interaction feel personal and genuine. Throughout the meal, Steve was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu—offering great recommendations and checking in on us at just the right times. His professionalism and warm personality elevated the entire experience. We both left not only full and happy but also genuinely impressed by the exceptional service. Steve made our last night in Nashville one to remember.

I have eaten there many times over the years. My latest experience was not as good. The shrimp on my husband's shrimp and crab Louis were hard, overcooked and tasteless. He couldn't eat them. His salad was supposed to have avocado but did not.The mixed lettuces were not mixed but rather stringy pieces of lettuce. My turkey sandwich was lacking the avocado and the simple salad had a dressing that was also tasteless. The usual dressing that I believe was garlicky, for that salad had changed. The lunch was very disappointing and surprising since we had had those items on previous occasions and loved them.
