- TTabethaCleveland / Akron / Canton •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoThis was our first time dining at House of Blues. If you plan on eating at the restaurant, I recommend specifying that when using a GPS. Otherwise, you will be directed to the music venue around the corner from the restaurant, just as we were. That being said, the staff was very understanding and helpful in making sure we got to the right place. The downside - the music was very loud which made it difficult to have a conversation. We elected to sit farther from the band, which solved that problem. Everything else about House of Blues was wonderful. The food was amazing! I never thought I'd be a fan of jalapeño cornbread, but it was delicious. And, the slightly sweetened butter really brought the flavors together. If you like a little heat in your food, I recommend the New Orleans Jambalaya with Cajun shrimp. This Jambalaya dish was made to perfection! Rather than the whole dish tasting like cajun seasoning, I could taste what I was eating with the added flavor of spices and seasoning. Now let's talk drinks. If you want something that's not too bitter or too sweet, try the Fire Arrow Margarita. The tequila, Bittermens Hellfire, Cointreau, and passion fruit blend well and it goes down so nicely. 👌 And let's face it, a good experience can't be great without great service. Our server, Laura, was a delight! She was friendly and cheerful, offering suggestions and answering questions, attentive throughout our meal, and even willing to joke around with us while still being professional. I never once got the feeling she didn't want to be there. Laura definitely added to our enjoyable experience at House of Blues.More infoHouse of Blues Restaurant & Bar - ClevelandPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown Cleveland / E. 4th Street•4.3
- LLatonjaAtlanta •15 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoService was exceptional. I was not all that enthused with the menu this time as I have been in the past but my sea bass was cooked and seasoned very well and my wine was a great recommendation. Overall it was a pleasant experience this time. Thank you!More infoTable 45Price: Moderate• American• Cleveland East•4.6
