This place never disappoints . Have been coming here for years. Food is excellent. View is beautiful. Staff are lovely and service amazing

Beef burger was a generally alright dish, nothing special for how popular the place is. Avo toast with the chilli, we were told there was minimal chilli but instead they dollop quite a large amount, good if that’s your thing, bad if you originally didn’t want chilli. Would recommend for breakfast as they have much better options, particularly pastries, but find somewhere different for lunch in future.

Always a pleasure and great value set menu on a Tuesday for 45/head!

It looks very beautiful inside and has a lovely atmosphere. The food was a bit hit and miss: barramundi was beautifully cooked, but chicken was very bland and required some seasoning! Bruschetta bread was very tasty, but had too much onion and tomatoes on it. Service was good, but a little slow.

Bills never disappoints. Great ambience, consistently good food (though portion size on some menu items has reduced). Wine chosen was different to the one on the menu (a Riesling) but still delicious. Perfect spot for a family celebration (30th). We’ll continue to frequent Bilks, Surry Hills. Double Bay is our local and tend to go there but prefer the Surry Hills vibe.
