If I could score bistra 100/10 I would. Every course seemed to get better and better. I would particularly recommend the starter special which was the French onion soup and was the best soup I’ve ever eaten. Steak was also brilliant and the vanilla cake for desert was *chefs kiss* Can’t wait to go back

We had a wonderful dining experience at Freya. The food was outstanding, it was original, beautifully balanced and tasted superb. It was hard to pick a favourite dish! They were all perfectly cooked and were wonderfully presented. The waitress (Paula) was well informed on the menu, helpful, friendly but also professional, she was attentive but not intrusive. We had the 'classy pairing' option of alcohol with our meals and the sommelier (Herb) did an outstanding job. Like our food the pairings were perfect. For me, this was the total dining experience, the staff, the food and the ambience were first class. This is a restaurant we will return to and I can highly recommend.

Great food: daily special, beef cheek Wellington..yum, tortellini..yum, calamari..yum. Three adults very happy after lunch! Service: friendly, efficient and welcoming.

The So-Fish-Ticated sandwiches and the Zuccini Fritters were excellent. The staff were really helpful and pleasant. Our only issue was the noise level inside. With so many people talking loudly and very loud background music it was impossible for us to have a quiet chat. We asked for the music to be turned down but it was still too loud. We moved outside when a table became available but had to fight off the wasps. Our table was also beside the fly bait which had a very unpleasant smell - perhaps move it away from the actual tables. We would love to come back because of the tasty food and lovely staff but the noise and wasp issue would be a deterrent.
