Very good experience this time. Last visit was not good due to overcrowding and short staffing. Food was good. Shrimp cocktail, Salads, potatoes augratin Huge prime rib! Not as tender as I expected. Filet was very tender. We had the Feast for two. Great waitress! Surprise when check arrived, we were charged xtra for our meat choices! Didn’t see that on menu.

The food was absolutely amazing!! Service was prompt and accommodating. Will absolutely be returning again.

We anticipated a wait for reservations on Easter Sunday for a party of 17. The manger greeted us upon check-in and we waited no more than 5 minutes to be seated. The waitress and manager made sure we were being serviced properly. This Mimi’s Cafe has always been the better with customer service than Downey or Lakewood. Thank you for making our Easter family time great.

This was a great place for dinner, the food, quality, service and ambience were excellent! Probably the best crab cakes I have ever had. I highly recommend you try this place in uptown Whittier. The restaurant itself makes you feel like you are taken back in time. I will definitely be going back!
