    This is always a good meeting spot for the family: 2 live in Santa Clara and 2 live in SF. We love that there's parking, and it's right off the freeway. The space is very inviting, clean, spacious, comfortable. The food is very good, although I don't think we ordered the best things tonight. The salmon dish had huge asparagus that one of us didn't want to eat. They were quite thick. Another had seafood with pasta, but the pasta was a bit overcooked. The halibut dish was loved by that one. Too full for dessert, but they looked delish. The service is always wonderful here. We'll definitely be back.

    The Oxford Pub was the proverbially "needle in the haystack!" WHAT A FIND!!! My guest and I were fortunate to sit outside on a sunny afternoon and now that Murphy Street has been closed to traffic and turned into a pedestrian walkway, even made it more delightful! I was looking for something different and found it! More surprising was the twists in flavor, ingredients and presentation on common dishes such as fried calamari strips, beef stroganoff bowl and tri-tip sandwiches. Fresh, hot, tasty and to top it off a great selection of beers to accompany the food. I tried their "seasonal roundtable' and was served a bourbon-barrel stout that blew my mind and tastebuds! In short, if you are tired of the "same o - same-o" for menu items, I invite you to sample what is on The Oxford Pub's menu for a welcomed surprise!! YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!

    We were there on a night with street music on Murphy so more crowded than usual and maybe a bit understaffed. They created additional seating for us outside which was great. Food was ok and the menu was eclectic but sufficient to offer many choices with a large wine and beer selection. They looked to have a full bar inside but only served wine and beer which was fine for us. Service was a little slow but there were a couple of large parties that took up time. Overall we were happy with our experience.
