As a Red Bulls fans, I've been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Keepers for some time. Our first visit on the restaurant's first ever Saturday Night didn't disappoint. For a 7:30 Red Bulls kickoff, we arrived at 5:45 for a 6p reservation, and we were seated right away. The main room was beautifully decorated, with soccer-themed items. The hummus plate was great, and my son's steak sandwich was enjoyed very much. I had a grain bowl, which was tasty. The service understandably was a little slow, but we were given a free appetizer and a 10% discount off the bill. Prices were a little higher than a neighborhood pub, but Keepers is a little more upscale. We'll definitely return, and we're looking forward to the kitchen managing the pre-game rush a little better. When we left around 7p, the bar area was cooking.

Very great experience. The service was wonderful. Everyone who worked there and came to our table was polite and friendly. The food was very good! The hot honey wings were delicious. If you’re going to see something at NJPAC this is the perfect place to eat. You can walk right into the theatre from the restaurant and our waiter made sure our food was ready before the show with plenty of time to eat.

Great find in Newark! We needed a place for lunch close to the airport and The Newark Standard was perfect. The food and service were excellent. It was quiet and not many diners which was to our advantage with the servers. I feel even if it was busier they would have been equally as terrific. We got the Brazilian Burger and the Iberica Pizza for lunch. The brunch menu and food looked delicious. I would definitely dine here again if I'm in the area.

Great place, great food, great location.... we willbe back.
