We’ve always wanted to go to Jilly’s. I was so excited when we finally booked to celebrate my birthday. The food is really outstanding. We ordered filet mignon and lobster risotto. Every bite was a delight. We were so happy with the experience. Definitely coming back for more date nights.

From the moment I arrived, the entire staff and the food at Le Grande Boucherie, was completely on point. So much so that I booked a holiday party for my company. I started with a great mix of East and West coast oysters and then had the perfectly cooked medium rare 10 ounce New York filet and finished with one of the best creme brulees I have ever had. The wine list is excellent and eclectic. The room is gorgeous and the service was warm, knowledgeable and unobtrusive. One of the best restaurants in Chicago!

We ate outside and enjoyed their lovely patio. The food was excellent as usual - had the chicken crepe. The prices had gone up, but the portion seemed larger. Very relaxing, enjoyable lunch.

Another great meal at the Alcove! Every dish is thoughtfully prepared and presented. Wonderful spot to get a meal worthy of downtown Chicago, but in the heart of Evanston!

Great ambiance, very pretty decor, though it hides the aging of the restaurant. Service was slow for my expectations, but that’s only because it was obvious they were short staffed servers. Busboys need to do a much better job, taking the initiative to fill water glasses. One busboy did take initiative as he walked around filled water, but he forgot to look over at our table in which we needed water. I had to wave my hand to get attention of busboys twice. Our server was very good and classy. Soup, salad and appetizer was excellent. Our entrees were excellent as well. Note, they take all of your course-orders at once, versus one at a time. We’ll be back.
